So is this firmware update required if you are having no trouble with the shipping firmware? Is there any critical performance or stability increase etc?

I have a machine with RAID setup so disk 0 and 1 are taken up.
can i just plug it into any spare sata port?
I not to mention it did not even come with a sata cable and who knows if i can find one.
can someone clear up this disk 1 , disk 0 business?
You then add a second boot drive (e.g. Seagate 320GB) to the second SATA cluster i.e. Port 1 or SATA_1.
I don't think you can use your RAID array if the firmware application checks if your Falcon is on SATA_0. You will have to use another hard drive and disconnect your RAID array for the time being.Last edited by razerza; 07-09-2009, 05:47 AM.cutting edge?
