  • Falcon II 128GB problems

    Got this SSD disk in second hand deal, Disk has lots of errors, read and write, cannot install windows on it, always comes somekind of error. I managed to update the firmware but it did not help. I problably should RMA this? Warranty should be ok, cause this disk have been on the market less than 2yrs, and the warranty is still valid, right?

    Disk is fm-25s2i-128gbf2

    Hi jifi,

    did you using clean funtion before you upgrade the SSD? you should using firmware1916 to clean the SSD and install the firmware 1916 back, and upgrade to firmware 2030. can you provide the serial number that
    i can make sure if the SSD still under warranty or not.

      Yes i did that, where can i find serial number? Top or bottom? There is lots of numbers at the back of the SSD.

            Rma is ER211789.
            It is arrived to G.Skill 11.08.2011. Any ideas how long these take time?
