  • Flashing the firmware in non-windows OS

    Dear GSkill Team,

    I just received 2 SSD Falcon 128Gb.
Reading though your forum, I wonder how I am going to update the firmware.
Oh I don't need to do it now, but it seems that new firmwares are on their way.

Your tool run under Windows XP or Vista "only".
But I run Linux (only), and have no easy access to a Windows computer.

Thus to flash the firmware, would you mind providing either:
    - a bootable cdrom iso image which allows to flash ? (easiest)
    or
    - a DOS tool ?
    or
    - a linux tool ? (I agree, this would be a dream )

    Thank you,

    Hi GSkill Team,

I would still be interested in flashing the firmware using a bootable CD-ROM.
I think not only Linux users would be grateful for it, but also Mac users.

Do you see any difficulty to release one ?
As an alternative, a simple DOS flashing tool would be sufficient (I could create a bootable CD-ROM by myself).

    Best regards,

We are working on more convenient methods to flash the drive, hopefully in the near future it will be much easier.

      Thank you
