Combining 2 kits of the same speed?

Is it possible to combine two 32 gig kits for 64 gigs and still use XMP or DCOP? I have a Crosshair Hero 8 board with a 3950x cpu. I can't find the 64 gig kit anywhere but I can get two 32 gig kits.

It is possible, however there is no guarantee. Also, if it is DDR4-3200+, most likely additional BIOS tweaking will be necessary. Ideally a single 64GB kit should be used to replace the existing kit.
