greetings,
16GB shows up in bios/cpuz but windows only shows 8GB
this happened after I attempted to set an all-core OC from 3.6ghz to 3.9ghz on my cpu, I know that sounds crazy but that was the most recent change I did in the bios before this happened. I'm using a ryzen 2600x. my RAM is installed in A2/B2 slots
update 4 hours later: I did some testing with different ram slots and another set of ram. All the ram is working fine, but slots B1 and B2 aren't working on my board. It detects that the ram is in there, speed and proper size in the bios, but in windows it doesn't show up. I have another PC nearly identical to mine so after swapping the cpu and ram around computers it seems to be the motherboard is shot.
