I prefer ganged, (though will say I don't use AMD that much) which runs the DRAM in affect as a single unit 128 bits wide, in unganged mode it runs the DRAM (by channel) in 64 bits wide, and was widely accepted as better for multi threaded applications or multiple applications. With 16GB however you have plenty of DRAM to run your apps and to run all of them in the wider 128 bit wide approach which provides higher bandwidth of the memory...and yes looks OK
