    hello gskill forums..

    i just built a new system about a month ago ..

    ever since the build i've had some random bsod's that have concerned me, as well as some freezing in game with an error of memory/file corrupt from pb.. sometimes it will run for hours with no probs, sometimes a memory management bsod..

    anyway my specs are:

    Corsair Carbide 500R case
    i5 2500k stock speed
    hyper 212+ cooler
    ASRock z68 Pro3 b3 mobo
    GSkill F3-12800CL9Q-16GBRL - 4x4
    WD TB drive
    250 drive
    thermaltake 750w PSU
    PNY gtx 470 xlr8r 1280mb

    on win7 ultimate x64 SP1 fresh install 1 week ago hoping to resolve issues

    i did some google searches , and may be under the impression that my timings for the ram may be wrong? or perhaps i can set them manually. i would like to at least try this, as i have ran some memory tests and no errors with that, so leads me to believe that the timings may be the way to go. ANY help would be appreciated.

    i was hoping manually setting the timings may help, but im not sure what to change in the uefi bios..

    First, make sure you have the latest BIOS 1.6, which you can find here:

    http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=Z68 Pro3&o=BIOS

    next go into the BIOS and enable XMP, select the 1600 profile, and should be good to go.....if you continue to have problems, can try rasing the CPU VTT voltage, say + .03. If still problems might want to run a few passes of Memtest on each stick individually

          so far so good, seemed to do the trick , all timings now correct 9,9,9,24 i think..

              low and behold another bsod..

              i reran memtest and after swapping around slots and sticks, i do infact have one stick giving me errors! lots of em!! i have since taken the stick out, and no problems yet! i guess i have to RMA the one stick.. bummer
