  • P5p43td/usb3 + f3-12800cl9q-8gbxl

hi, i have a P5P43TD/USB3 + F3-12800CL9Q-8GBXL and a qx6800. these ram were given in trade of anoher ram kit from rma and my mobo cant support 4 ram modules at 1600.
i changed in bios to the x.m.p. profile and the frequency to 1334, leaving everything else to auto.

thing is that my px6800 got oc'ed to 3.2 ghz. all i wannaknow is if this configuration is right to be used, or can i change something more to make it better? also in CPU-Z it shows that ram command rate is at 1T, and i know it should be 2T but i dunno where to change it, or even if i need it.

im new at this and i would apreciate all help.

You shouldn't use XMP, XMP is for the DDR3-1600 settings.

Is the system stable right now?

    Is your CPU FSB 333?

Don't worry about Command Rate 1T/2T, 1T is better, so as long as your system is stable, it is OK.

    Thank you

it seems to be stable, what worrys me most its the cpu OC, cause an increase of temperature. i have a good water-based cooler so it should be enough but even then i dont fell its safe to continue having it oced.

if i shouldnt use xmp profile ill try to change to auto and set the timing manualy.
problem is i dont know where i should put them, to much stuff there to modify and i get confused.

my qx6800 is at 400 mhz, and i think is too much... dunno.

ill post pics so u can see.

      --------------------------------------------EDIT-----------------------------------
changed everything to auto in the bios, then changed timings to 9-9-9-24 and put 1066 on the ram frequency, since it dosent show more....

      but in cpuz it shows:

im new so i dont undestand much of this but my goal is to use ram at 1333 if possible and my qx6800 at 1333 fsb (at max), since it with xmp enable and ram freq. to 1334 it goes to 1600.

      any suggestion?

Just check CPU temp, it should be less than 80 degrees C.

        400MHz CPU FSB is good.

Looks like memory timings are off, you need to set them to 7-7-7-21 for DDR3-1066 or DDR3-1333 8-8-8-24.

        Thank you
