  • Seconday timings for DDR3-1866

I recently purchased the DDR3-1866 4096MB x 2 Ripjaws (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL) for a new build. When I go into the timings in BIOS, there are two secondary timings that just don't look right to me:

    DRAM Refresh INT: 7282
    DRAM REF Cycle Time: 150

All other values look reasonable, but these timings seem off and I can't find anywhere what these values should be. Any help would be appreciated.

    My build:
    I7-2600K
    Asus P8-Z68-V PRO
    DDR3-1866 4096MB x 2 Ripjaws (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL)
    EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked

Those settings should be fine. Did you enable XMP?

I did. Same thing. Just never seen a timing as high as 7000 before. Seemed odd.

On the new platforms, it will have this.

          Try DDR3-2133 9-11-10-28 1.65V

          VCCIO 1.10V

and then it will be ~8319

I had to test this combination recently, so I'm just reading off my handy notes.

          Thank you
