  • [Win 7 x64] 12800CL8D and Gigabyte GA-EP45C-DS3R

    Hello everyone,

I'm posting here because my computer keeps crashing and it's pretty annoying.

    First, configuration:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
    Gigabyte GA-EP45C-DS3R (Intel P45 Express) - ATX
Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 TOXIC - 512 Mo
    12800 - 2 x 4 Go (8 Go) 1600 Mhz - CAS 8 - F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM
    Win 7 x64 French

    Second, the problem:
I used to have 4Gb of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 1066 MHz CL5 installed and everything worked fine.
Since I mounted the gskill, i keep getting BSOD randomly.
I setted the RAM correctly in the BIOS to have it running at it's normal frequency.

So I want to know if you have any idea of what's going on and if anyone has had the same issue.

    Thanks.

May want to raise the NB voltage a bit, maybe .05 and possible the DRAM the same amount

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

I'll try that tonight, but it's odd because the voltage is at 1.5V, which is the value recommended.

Anyway, I'll give it a try.

Plus, I updated Windows with all the updates avalaible plus the Catalyst drivers and it seems to work better, I'll give more news later.

      Thanks for your concern!
