  • xmp dual channel errors in memtest [SOLVED]

    Hello,

    My config :
    - msi p67a-gd65 bios 1.d
    - i5 2400 no oc
    - RipJaws X Series 4 Go (kit 2x 2 Go) DDR3-SDRAM PC3-17000 - F3-17000CL9D-4GBXMD

I had some blue screen, I ran memtest86+ several times for each stick en both and had errors only with xmp activated on dual channel.
I don't know if it's a weekness of the memory or the cpu.
I tried with 1.55V but no difference.
    Have you an idea?

    thank you
(sorry for my english, I'm french)

Do you have the latest BIOS? if so, try raising the VCCIO a bit, maybe + .o4

      Thank you for your answer,
The version of the bios is ok.
I changed the cpu i/o voltage and ran memtest, 0 error for 1 pass, it's the first time,
I will run memtest for few hours to be sur.
If it's ok, can I let all like that? it should be stable and no need to change ram or cpu?
      thank you

After few hours of memtest I had 0 error on slot 2 and 4 of my motherboard,
I tried on slot 1 and 3 and had a lot of errors,
so I tried on an other motherboard and had errors again,
maybe vccio adjustment is too just to fix properly?

Use them in slots 2 and 4, those must be your initial slots.

            Thank you

It seems to be stable like that, so I let it like that.
Thanks a lot for your help

              where can I put "solved"?
