Dell Studio XPS 435MT - what memory works?
Hi, I've seen various posts by people with the Dell Studio XPS 435MT having tried different RAM boards, and haven't found one that works.
As I understand it the memory works in two pairs of three boards, is that correct? I'm a bit of a noobie, so apologies if I don't understand correctly.
Also, the maximum possible is 24GB, correct?
I'd like to upgrade to either 9 or 12GB using either 3x3GB or 3x4GB option. I'd likely keep the previous memory that was initially installed 6x1GB if it can be used concurrently in any free slots.
What GSkill RAM sticks HAVE BEEN PROVEN to work in the 435MT?
Any help would be appreciated!
