Memory Performance & Size Questions
Hello:
I am having a problem deciding which memory modules to purchase for my new motherboard [Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3] and CPU [AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3.0GHz (3.5GHz Turbo)]. I do not intend to overclock my system, except for the Turbo mode that the processor uses automatically. So, to my questions:
I would like to purchase 8GB (2x4BG) of PC3-12800 1.5v - most of the modules are 9-9-9-24 but there is one that is 8-8-8-24. Will this make any difference in the performance?
Regarding this RipjawsX series, can you please give me the height dimensions? I am also trying to find a cooler for the CPU that will fit over the memory modules.
