Looking for some advice on what memory to go with for the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and the i5-2500K. I planned to originally use some DDR3 I had on hand from a previous build, 2x2GB F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ, but wasn't sure if I would have issues with the board.
I was looking for probably 2x2GB DDR3 1600. The cheapest on the supported memory list on Gigabyte's list is F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL, but I was hoping to find something on Amazon that qualifies for Prime so I can get it in time for my build around the 16th.
8Gb will be overkill since it is going to be primarily a HTPC, but not opposed if the price is right.
I just didn't see a way on G.Skill's site to filter by board.
Thanks.
