Are 12800CL8D-8GBXM Compatible With ASUS M5A99X EVO?

Hi,

I have seen that buyers have said these modules were working with AMD setups. I would like to use 4x4GB (2 - 12800CL8D-8GBXM kits) with an ASUS M5A99X EVO motherboard and a AMD PH II X6 1100T but I wanted to make sure that they were compatible before I bought them.

Yes, no problem, if the two kits can work together. Sometimes two different kits may not be fully compatible with each other which is why we must have 16GB kits.

I was also wondering if the F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL kit is compatible with this ASUS M5A99X EVO motherboard? Would this be a better performance investment? Can this memory run at 1866 (PC3 14900) with this motherboard?
