Complete the RMA request form online, email it to RMA dept., let them know which kit you want, and then they will respond with necessary details.

I would suggest a kit like this:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231457

If you only send in 2 kits (4 modules), you will need to pay a $70 upgrade fee for the 12GB kit. If you send in all three kits, we can make a direct swap.

    Thank you

I was also looking at this kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231406

I see that the main difference is that this kit has flat timings of 8-8-8-24 and the kit you listed has a tighter timing of 7-8-7-24.

My question regarding this is will it be more difficult to get the ram with varied timings to run something like 7-7-7-24? Like is it designed to run better with varied timings? Or is it just a higher performance memory and that's the only difference.

the 7-8-7 is higher performance, the lower (tighter) the timings at a given frequency, the higher the performance.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

The 7-8-7 chips will be better, so they are designed to perform better because they use better chips. This also means they will overclock and achieve better timings than the 8-8-8 model.

          Thank you
