  • G.Skill FLARE DDR3 2133 - News???

Hello I am brazilian, sorry for my english ... I'm new to the forum. I'm buying a platform AM3+ ... I've got the ASUS Crosshair V Formula... I will use a Phenom II X6 1100T temporarily until the release of the FX-8130P or 8150P.

I'm waiting for a kit G.Skill FLARE DDR3 2133MHz 2x 4GB, there is expected to launch this kit? I am anxiously awaiting the release of the kit FLARE 2133.

This month I will have news of FLARE? hehehe ...

If anyone knows anything, I appreciate it!

    Thanks!

I just ordered the ASUS Crosshair V Formula today, I expect to have it on Friday.
Until Bulldozer is launched, I'll be running my 1090T on this new board.
I'm also interested in the availability of this Flare memory set.

High end memory IC's have been in short supply for some time now.

Could G.Skill give us an idea when they might be available again?

Oh yes, I'm planning to run the 4x2GB Flare sets in the new CH5F.
But since the CH5F supports 2133 memory, I feel the need for more speed...lol
I could not get the two sets to run at 2000MHz on my CH4F.
Probably because of too much stress on the IMC with all dimms populated.
Also, even though they are the same model, they are not "matched" sets.
It may be a no go on the CH5F because of the IMC limitation with the Thuban X6.
But from the looks of it, Bulldozer will have a better IMC, thus supporting 2133 memory.

We have to compare notes when you get yours up & running.
Ran into a snag myself, had to RMA it back to Newegg.
The replacement will be delivered any moment now, where is that UPS guy? lol
Waiting on a new 1TB SATA III HDD and a new copy of Win 7 SP1 x64.
Those should arrive on Thursday, so I'll start the new build then.

*sigh* might be a couple of weeks before i have the rest of it in hand...just bought 2x hdds, 1x sdd, ram (got that CL9 bxl you mentioned, since im not planning on running a BD any time soon). gotta love newEgg and their "thank you for shopping here" discounts!

how well does that H50 work for you? i was thinking about putting an H70 in rather than waiting for the 80 or 100, not sure i really need that large a system, though a custom loop still looks tempting now and then. *shrug*

lol, I used that Newegg thank you coupon to get 10 bucks knocked off my new Win 7 copy.
Yeah, I'm going with an SSD in a couple of months, plan to use it for just benching & gaming.
The H50 is great, but definitely get the H70, it has larger radiator than the H50.
You're gonna love that RipjawsX memory kit, just make sure to set the CR to 2T in the bios.
Have had my set overclocked to 1907MHz without any voltage or timing changes.

And you're right, the new CH5F is one sexy board, love (maybe lust) at first sight.

You know tell me what is the difference in a G.Skill FLARE 2133MHz to G.Skill RipjawsX 2133MHz in an AMD platform?

If the only difference is XMP, I'll buy the RipjawsX.

If there is a difference, what will?
