F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL - Ripjaws X Series

Are the X Series stick usable anywhere the regular Ripjaws can be used? Or are they special for some subset of mobo?

While they are designed w/ the P67 in mind, they work most anywhere. They are used widely both in Intel systems across the board and AMD
