Hi everyone,
I am quite disappointed with my brand new Gskill Trident kits (F3-12800CL8D-4GBTD)x2 on my Asus P8P67Pro (BIOS 1305).
The 2 kits together are unstable @1600 Mhz and even @1333 Mhz.
To have a stable system, i have to downclock @1066Mhz...!
I tried with different values for Vmem (1,6 ; 1,65 ; 1,67...); tried different Timings (...) ; with XMP Profile or Automatic... : Memtest gave me loads and loads of errors in every cases. Most of times, i am not able to even start my computer.
I tried clr cmos : no results.
The only solution for me is to install only 1 kit (4Gb) on the board : Memtest is ok @1600Mhz
Memtest is also ok when i have the 8Gb @1066Mhz.
Configuration :
Asus P8P67 Pro
I7-2600K
GTX460
OS : Ubuntu 10.10
Does anyone have an idea what to do to have a stable system@1600Mhz?
Thanks for your help!
