Having a regular failure on memtest when I installed this memory (I have 8x4GB sticks for 32GB). It is a consistent one-bit failure in the same memory location.

I tried turning the memory bus speed to 533 MHz, but the failure stayed the same. After changing the bus speed, the timings are reported as 7-7-7-20.

When I run memtest for hours, it just reports that same bit is failing on the same test. Failing address: 0061f169bfc - 25073.4MB. It is test #4, and always reports that Err-Bits is 0x40000000.

Is this a likely bad memory stick, and if so, how do I identify which stick corresponds to that memory address?

    Other suggestions?

Stick #7 of 8, but, counting from where?

That bit is intermittently failing, right? Did changing the clock speed make any difference?

Test one stick at a time in the initial slot.
