Test one at a time with XMP in slot A1.

Do you have the latest BIOS?

    Thank you

Just test to see if it can boot Windows and work OK.

Or if you have Win 7, you can use the memory diagnostics test.

I just want to share my experience. Rather then creating a new post, I would want to add to this thread. I got the same motherboard (Asus Maximus IV Extreme) running with Bios version 1204.

Of course, I've run memtest along with Windows Memory Diagnostic in Win 7 64 bit. All passed. The problem comes when i try to put the timing as 7-8-7-24-2 with 1.6v. The motherboard just reboot in endless loop. Right now, I'm running 8-8-8-24-1 at 1.6v
(no booting issues whatsoever). I bought 2 of these kits (ie: 4 x 4GB) to achieve 16gB Ram. Also, I tried with 2x4GB only, same endless loop scenario.

Question:- How to resolve this ?

I even try X.M.P mode, same endless booting scenario. I purposely paid more for this Cas7... Please advice.

Make sure the memory is fully inserted. Reset the BIOS with the CLRTC button and try XMP again.

                Thank you

Send the memory in for RMA to see if a new kit works better.
