Really depends what your main objectives are for your comp, gaming?
There isn't much to chose from in the 1800-2000MHz range right now, at least with tighter timings.
I want to add another 2x2Gb Flare set, but the CL7 version has been out of stock for a while now.
The Ripjaw series seem to be popular, are you considering 8GB?AMD Phenom II X6 1090T@ 4.2GHz

666MHz = 1333MHz, which is native memory frequency with AM3 boards.
Increase the CPU (FSB) clock to 225 for 1800MHz or 250 for 2000MHz.
Don't forget to manually enter the DRAM voltage and memory timings in your bios.
Run two passes of HyperPi (32M) on all CPU cores to test initial stability.AMD Phenom II X6 1090T@ 4.2GHz

Thank you giving us feedback on the availability of the Flare series.
Looking at the Newegg reviews, you are losing a lot of business to your competitors.
Many have mentioned they gave up waiting for the Flares to come back in stock.
Tradesman mentioned something about the high end IC chips being in short supply.
G. Skill, do have an ETA on the arrival of the DDR3-2000 CL7 & CL8 modules?
I'm specifically looking for the 2x4GB (CL7) modules in the 2000MHz Flare series.
Thank you....AMD Phenom II X6 1090T@ 4.2GHz

as long as they are still planning on filling orders, i will try to be patient, my big concern is we get stalled out indefinitely, then they release info that they will be discontinued. as long as they are still making the stuff, id rather wait for the perfect kit, than settle for a substitute, ya know
