  • F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH : 2 version

    hi

    Last year, I bought 2 * 2GB (F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH) . Last week
    I bought the same memory F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH in order to have 8GB. When
    I choose the XMP profile in the BIOS I see only 4GB on 8.
    After research, it seems that the old memory either 1.60v
    and the latest in 1.65v

    1 / is it possible?
    2 / is it possible to make a RMA return in order to have the same F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH ?

    thanks

    CPU : Intel Core i7 870
    MB : P7P55D-E DELUXE

    That is possible, but just use 1.65V. This kit is currently out of stock, so we do not have RMA replacements available.

    Thank you

        Try to reseat the memory, make sure it is firmly inserted. Sometimes one side is slightly up and it can cause this problem. It is common for this motherboard since there are only memory clips on one side.

          In bios, if i set all to "auto", all is working very well but i bought cas7 in order to use it and not cas9

          set "auto" -> i see 8Go
          set "XMP" -> i only see 4Go.
          set "Manual" 7-7-7-24-2N 1.65v -> i only see 4Go

            Try raising IMC Voltage a tad to stabilize the memory controller.
