    Hi everybody,

    I'm thiknking of buying Asrock 890GX Extreme3 with F3-10666CL7Q-8GBXH and i would like to ask you if i'll get any compatibility problems as these ram dimms are Designed For Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs as it says in their page.

    You should be fine, just means that they were tested on an Intel platform.

    For AMD boards, it's important that you manually enter the frequency, timings, and voltage in the bios.

      Thanks for the answer mate.

      I didn't know that i have to manually set the ram settings in the bios ?

      You believe the auto settings will not be functional ?

        I know from experience that you should not let memory settings run on auto.

        Trust me, if you want stability, manually enter the XMP memory profile settings in the bios.
