F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL (1.5v), works on my MB in 1.6V

Hi,

i have the F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL pair, and my motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-880GMA-UD2H.

the memory by default should work in 1.5V, but as i see my motherboard give them 1.6V, i didn't tweak these settings, this is the default that my Motherboard has set.

am i need to change it to 1.5V ? or leave it as it is.

You can try manually setting it to 1.5 and see how it goes, if stability is affected, start re-raising it .02 at a time till stable.

Some motherboards will default to 1.60V. It is fine if you can not change it.
