  • F3-16000CL9D-8GBRM with Asus P8P67 Deluxe

I know these aren't the best kit for Sandy Bridge since it doesn't support DDR3-2000 at 100MHz BCLK, but I was wondering if someone could suggest timings and UEFI settings for running them at DDR3-1866.

Right now I have them set at DDR3-1866 @ 1.6V 8-9-8-27-2T (default values for VCCIO/CPU PLL) and it passes memtest86 overnight. Was looking at Hardware Canuck's review and they ran the same kit at 8-9-8-30-1T.

Asus's new EFI ROM update (1/20) seems to have improved DRAM stability by a lot. 8-9-8-24-1T now, which is probably as good as I can expect out of 1.6V.

Could be, each set of sticks and mobo combos will act a little differently and probably more so depending on the rest of the components used...might be able to kick the speed up some w/ the CR at 2T

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

I was running this kit at DDR3-1866 8-9-8-27-1T on 1.6V just fine, but felt like trying to bump it up to DDR3-2133.

What is the max VCCIO I should try to get this kit stable on my P8P67 Deluxe? Right now it is able to last a few hours at 9-11-9-29-1T in a Prime95 blend test and is stable overnight in Memtest86+ on 1.15V VCCIO and 1.64375V "DDR"/VDIMM. Should I boost it to 1.175V and 1.65V?

Or should I try a command rate of 2T instead...

Likely going to stick with a 2T command rate.
