  • computer wont start

Motherboard: asus m4a77td.... cpu: amd phenom II X4... initial RAM installed: ADATA ddr3 1333 2gb. RAM purchased: g.skill ddr3 (2x2gb) 1333 (f3-10666cl8d-4gbhk). When I first got the new ram I installed both chips and kept the old chip in the first slot. Computer started fine but didn't detect the new ram.. so I turned it off and took all of the ram out and tried to re arrange it. Then my comp didn't start (no mobo beeps and fans still run, but the monitor gets no signal). I then took out the new ram to see if it would start with the original and it still didn't work........ help please!

Try unpluging the sytem, then reset the BIOS, using the jumper, install the new sticks only., plug it in and give it a try.

Not sure what AData sticks you have but some are higher voltage and the system may have just not known what to do with disproportionate voltage calls

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
