  • Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P with F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ, wont post with 4 sticks

    CPU: Phenom 2 X4 925 (stock)
Motherboard: Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P Rev 1.0 (Bios updated to F10)
    Memory: F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ (x4)

I'm having trouble getting 4 sticks of F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ to work in my system. I bought the first 2 sticks about a year ago (2x2gb) and just bought the second set recently. I can get 3 of them (6gb) to work in any slot configuration flawlessly (no errors with memtest, 3 passes).

However, if I install all 4 I get a either no beep code, or 3-long,1-short. The beep code is not listed in the mobo manual, but from what I've heard is usually memory related.

I've tried upping the voltage from 1.50 to 1.60 and changed the NBVDD to 1.2 (+0.1). I've also tried changing the trfc for all sticks to 160ns.

    Thanks for your help.

Did you try memtest on the new sticks individually, may have gotten a bad one. if all test okay may have to OC the 925 and raise voltages on CPU, NB, HT and DRAM a bit....also check CR is at 2 and tRFC is 160 or so

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
