Well sounds like the same problem I had with my 4x1GB OCZ 1600 DDR3, will not run stable at 1333 speed let alone 1600... pass memtest overnight but will BSOD eventually, tried every trick OCZ tech suggested...finally gave up and run them at 1066 speed since it was a known problem with C2 stepping cpu... no problem eversince with an Asus M4A77TD PRO (by the way, same problem with the Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P, ie will not run 4x1GB higher than 1066 speed with CS stepping cpu)
so IMO, it is not the problem of G.Skill...either just use two ram or buy a C3 stepping cpu which I heard has solved this problem.
Now waiting for my G.Skill 2x4GB kit from Newegg to replace my Adata 2X2GB..can't wait.
Finally OP, I don't think it was a good idea to trouble shoot your ram with overclocked cpu...you won't be able to be sure where the trouble is.
