Try a new kit if you continue to have a problem.

      I set CAS=8, tRCD=8, tRP=8, tRAS=24, CMD=2.
      I changed QPI/VTT voltage to 1.170V (default was 1.100V).
I changed the DRAM voltage to 1.6V.
Failed memtest86+ test (I run it overnight).

I will increate QPI/VTT voltage to 1.210V and retest. What is the safe maximum this can be set to?

Surely does not need more for this memory..

          My choices for QPI/Vtt are: 1.050, 1.100, 1.170, 1.190, 1.210, 1.230, 1.250, 1.270, 1.290, 1.310, 1.330, etc.

Do I try 1.190 or 1.210? An earlier reply suggested 1.2.

Either one, but I don't think it would make a difference.

              Failed again.

Are there any Advanced Timings I should change: tRC, tRRD, tWTR, tWR, tWR, tWTP, tWL, tRFC, tRTP, tFAW?

I will start testing each module in each dimm slot.

No, you should not need to adjust advanced timings.

2 different memory modules failed in socket DDR3_1 (Channel 0). The same 2 memory modules passed in DDR3_3 (Channel 1) using 8-8-8-24. I must have a bad motherboard. Newegg is RMAing it for me. Thanks for all the support.

I replaced my motherboard. Ran all 4x2GB DIMMs overnight with memtest86+, passed with no errors. I will test a second time, but it looks like everything is OK.

I ordered parts to build a computer for a friend; I ordered G.Skill memory. Your support has been great.

                      Thanks.

Glad to hear all is well, let us know how the new build goes - hopefully better and quicker then this last
