  • F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI and Asus P6X58D-E

    Hi, I am trying to get the memory that I purchased with my new system to run at its rated values.

    My new system;
    Processor: i7 950 running at 3.07Ghz
    Mother Board: Asus P6X58D-E

    The new Memory is the G.SKILL Pi Series (3x2GB) PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Triple Channel Memory Kit and I beleive the model number to be F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI

    I'm new to this and not really sure where to go in the BIOS to set this up. I don't know how to check the current values, but someone has told me that the memory will not be set up to run at 1600MHz by just installing it.

    Do you need anymore information?

    I am in the UK if that makes a difference to any of the settings?

    Enable XMP under Ai Overclock Tuner, that should set everything for you to operate at max performance.

    Thank you
