I keep getting BSOD or just random restarts. The only thing I can see on the BSOD is Memory management. The ram is in slot 1 and 3, they were in slot 1 and 2, but this seems more stable. in post it often says dqs training failed, and the speed is capped at 1333 when it's supposed to go to 1600. Help?

If you leave at DDR3-1333, use 8-8-8-24 timings.

If you change to DDR3-1600, use 9-9-9-24 timings, and also increase CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V.

Test each individually with these settings to insure none are defective.

    Thank you

it seems to be stable when I use only one stick. Haven't tried the other stick as a single yet.
If it were defective, could I get a replacement? I don't have any of the packaging, but I did purchase it 2 months ago.

Of course, no problem, as long as the memory is not physically damaged and the sticker is not removed, lifetime warranty will cover everything.

I take that back, it's still having the error with using single stick.

Request a RMA to have them replaced.

I just got them replaced, and the first thing that happened was after about 30 minutes, I watched a youtube video and it crashed without a bsod. It would then proceed to not boot past bios twice. The third time I went into bios and turned off overclocking and left the ram timing to auto. It seems to be working now, but that could change at any moment. Help?

Don't forget to lower timings to 8-8-8-24 for DDR3-1333 and see how that holds up.

                Thank you

That is what the timings were set on when it crashed.

Do you have the latest BIOS? This memory should not have a problem.

                    Thank you

Run memtest to see if the memory has errors. If not, you may have a weak memory controller causing the problem. In that case, AMD would be able to replace that and solve the problem.

                          Thank you

memtest came up with nothing. So you're saying that the memory controller is on the cpu or the motherboard?

CPU, so swapping for a new CPU to test may be the next step.

                              Thank you
