    Hello.

    I bought a F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID
    I have X58 motherboard 3SLI RVGA
The Intel Core i7 920 CPU D0 (Bloomfield)

It fails to boot with the RAM set to 6-9-6-24-2T and when it starts not detect all the modules.

I have read the guide that you have for problems with missing modules and motherboards x58 bios. After testing all the options I have not gotten it to work.

Have you encountered these problems before? Do you have the settings needed to make it work at their correct speeds on my motherboard?

    Thank you very much.

Did you raise CPU VTT Voltage? For DDR3-2000, you need to trial and error to find the precise voltage your CPU needs for this memory.

Once you find the right voltage, the system will be very fast. This kit you have is great.

    Thank you

            Kete,

Your BIOS settings for the memory aren't in line. It is reporting that you are only running DDR3 1333.

Please check and make sure that you are running the latest BIOS released for your motherboard. If not please update your BIOS.

After updating your BIOS, clear the CMOS and load BIOS defaults. Load XMP Profile, save settings and reboot. Make sure to manually set your DIMM voltage to 1.65v. Set your CPU Voltage to 1.28v. Set your IOH Voltage to 1.50v. If that doesn't work set your QPI/PLL Voltage to 1.45v and try again.

Of everything I'm recommending above, making sure you have the latest BIOS and loading the XMP profile are two of the most important.

              I'm having the same issue.

              http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=6752

I've cranked up my VCORE, VTT, VDIMM and IOH to no avail. It seems that if I play with the memory timings it changes the amount of memory detected by my system. I'm wondering if I have faulty modules. I tried the 76 BIOS for the EVGA X58 Classified E760 but I have better stability with the 74 (prior BIOS). I spent 3 hours the other night testing various settings, restarting and clearing my CMOS.

I spend a lot of time too, days maybe, but I cant make it run 6-9-6-24
Like you it only works in 7-8-7 or 7-9-7.

Test each module individually to see if one performs differently than the other.

                  Thank you

                        Memory trouble shooting 101

I know it's a pain but the only way to narrow down the list of potential road blocks.

                        Good luck.

I boot each module individually and the tree boots.

?Try to pass memtest with each module alone?

                          Thanks.

                            Exactly,

We are trying to determine whether or not one of the modules may be defective. If all three pass individually, then it's a good indication that your BIOS just needs a little tweaking.
