F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL with EVGA X58 FTW3 and Intel Core i7-950

Memory : G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL

Motherboard: EVGA X58 FTW3 132-GT-E768-KR LGA 1366 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Processor: Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor

Currently I have 6 sticks of the F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL installed, but the BIOS only recognizes 16GB vice 24GB. My assumption is that I am missing a critical BIOS setting to take advantage of the full 24GB potential as it appears that the memory is being seen as dual channel and not triple channel

I have verified that my BIOS is running the latest firmware version.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Unfortunately, this module was designed for a P55(dual channel) motherboard. http://www.theitdepot.com/AMD/details-C6P6876.html

It is recommended to purchase a kit rather than seperate modules. Especially with the X58 platform, memory detection can be very picky.
