  • F3-10666CL7D-4GBPI - Where to buy + help!

Hey I am new to the pc building world and I have questions about my ram.

    MOBO : ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 DDR3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

    CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache
    Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor

    RAM : GSKILL DDR3 F3-10666CL7D-4GBPI

    PSU : 700wat

    GFX : ati radeon 4890

    OS : Windows 7 64 bit

I currently have 2 sticks of ram. Both are the same model and 2gigs ddr3. I wanted to bump it up to 8gigs and then start overclocking my cpu.

Would someone please check my specs and see If i will be running into any troubles or anything?

Also, I tried to search online for the ram I have and I can not find any sites selling it. I am not sure if it is okay to mix different model types of ram...if it is would someone please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance!

    Purchase this kit:

    F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-276-_-Product

If they do not work together, send both in so we can send you 4 modules that will work together.

You may need to raise CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V to support 4 modules.

    Thank you

      thanks

Yeah i went ahead and purchased that one - I installed it and I am pretty sure it is running fine. My system seems to be recognizing 8 gigs now but just to make sure I know i am getting the most out of all 4 sticks together what can i do?

Just make sure all the settings are correct in BIOS and you should be fine.
