  • Help with my settings

    Got these parts from newegg and from a friend for a very good price just need some help to set this up.

    motherboard: ASRock P43DE3 LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard
    cpu: intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 Wolfdale 2.7GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W
    gpu: evga gts 450

    Ram: G.SKILL Trident 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
    2 sets of them
    op: win 7 64 bit

    This pc is for gaming and writing papers

    so i need some help on whats the best settings to run this at, i have a nzxt m59 case with 4 gelid fans on case 2 in 2 out and a gelid cpu cooler.

    i cant seem to find a mem multiplier or any fsb:dram in bios ram speed goes up as i up my cpu speed, so im looking for a solid speed for a cpu and ram or just more help with my bios

    This will take some work.

    First, you will need to overclock the CPU FSB to 1600MHz. This is double your stock, so you may also need to raise CPU FSB Voltage. Then you will need to set the basic memory settings, frequency, timings, and voltage. Since you have two kits, you will also need to raise your NB Voltage (memory controller). Once you have all this set up, everything should work fine. But if you don't have much overclocking experience, this may be a difficult task.
