Width of the Trident Headspreaders ?

Hi!

How much is the witdh of the Trident Headspreaders?

Are the Trident Heatspreaders of this Model F3-12800CL7T2-12GBTDD
greater (more expanded/more width) than my G.Skill F3-12800CL7T2-12GBPI CL7?

The Problem is:

when i remove the first (of my 6x2GB) Mem's and place a Fan on my Prolimatech Mega Shadow cooler - it fit short.

(I cant use a Fan in the front of my Mega Shadow because the PI's have so high Heatspreaders. So i want to replace the PI's with a 3x4GB Kit)

Width is all the same, still the standard size module. The real difference is height.

3 x 4GB RipJaws should fit no problem. Trident is still very tall.

The Trident height is the same like the PI's right?
(on the left and right side of the HS).

2:
do have the Trident Mem' a better cooling soolution than the PI's ?
Or have they the same effectiveness?

1. No, the Trident is a little shorter. PI/PIS = 55mm Trident = 53mm

2. They are about the same effectiveness
