Hi all,
I'm writing in hopes of getting some support concerning issues that I've been having with my PC rig for a week or so now. I have eliminated a few possibilities (corrupted boot sector) from what is happening, and digging in further to my BIOS, I have discovered what may be the root of the problem.
First off, a few specs.
MoBo:
Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P
RAM:
F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ (2Gx2)
Now, on my motherboards specs it says I should be running by default 1.5v for my ram. Which is also what the ram specs say.
However when digging into my BIOS, in the system health section, it says
DDR3 1.5V 1.60v
Which means I am running at 1.6v, instead of 1.5v. When I try to go into my BIOS in order to change this, it says that default is 1.6v, and I can't DECREASE my default voltage at all. Any way anyone knows how I can do that?
Much thanks in advance.
