  • 4 sticks of ram all fail memtest at rated speed

I have a gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 motherboard, with an amd 605e cpu, and 4 sticks of F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO running at 1.41V because the motherboard (which is whitelisted as compatible) does not support 1.35.

After installing them and setting them to the advertised speeds and latencies, I ran memtest on two of them at a time (so they will be running in dual channel mode), with each combination of all of them gives back errors on memtest test #5 and 8. They only seem to pass at the slower ddr3 speed of 1333(?). Why is this? Are they all bad? Is there something I am forgetting to set in the plethora of bios options?

What CPU do you have? Sounds like a non-six core struggling with DDR3-1600. ;-)

    Thank you
