Hi, this is Sebastian from Germany.


I just asampled my new Rag with the i7 960 on Rampage II Gene and the above mentioned Ripjaw 6GB 3Kit.

I do have the same problems with he BIOS-settings like many other befor me, but i found no thread with examples for setting regarding the i7 960 D0 (only for 920)

I really would like to get my Memorys work on 2000MHZ, so i aktually hope that anyone can give me the hole settings for the Bios.

I just tried the X.M.P.-Mode but whwn i use this , the stresstest with prime95 crashes to a bluescreen.

P.s: I hope my english ist quiet good enough to understand ^^

960 and 920 settings are still the same. The only thing different is stock CPU Frequency and QPI/DRAM Voltage. The QPI/DRAM Voltage is different for every CPU, even same model, anyway.

With XMP Profile, you will also need to find the lowest stable QPI/DRAM Voltage. This must be manually set since it is different for each CPU. So you will need to start from 1.40V, then work your way up until it is fully stable.
