I am currently using windows 7 and under the computer properties I am showing 4 gigs of ram installed 3.25 gigs usable.

My system specs are

Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 Motherboard
4 gigs of Ripjaw Model F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH
AMD Phenom II X4 955 black edition
XFX Radeon HD5670

I read somewhere that the timings may need to be set manually for this type of RAM. Is this the case for the reason why only 3.25 gigs are showing as useable or is there another problem causing this?

EDIT:

After some more searching i set the timings to 8-8-8-24-2T
NB Voltage to 1.36
DRAM Voltage to 1.6
and NB frequency to x11 2200MHz

Are these the correct settings?
They didnt fix the original question but figured i would ask to make sure i did the settings right as well

Bump: just looking for the proper settings for this setup if anyone has a similar one and can confirm or correct me please do!

A 32bit OS won't show the whole 4gb.

I had a suspicion that was the case thanks for confirming that!

Still wondering if i have the proper bios settings for my motherboard and processor combos if anyone can help with that

Timings for the memory are 7-7-7-21, so set it to that. Voltage should only need 1.50V.
