Hey G.Skill Forums,
I am the VERY proud new owner of 4 sticks (2 dual channel sets) of Trident 2000 RAM. Unfortunately I was kind of stupid and bought it nearly blind for my GA-X58a-UD3R board and later realized that it is not the optimal chipset for my RAM.
I have been doing a ton of research over the last couple of days and wanted to make sure that the sets of DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Model F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD will run smoothly on my board.
I also would like to ask for a recommendation for my timing settings, please. RAM cooling should not be an issue.
EDIT: I also meant to ask if these dual channel sticks would perform properly, or would it be beneficial to get 2 more to fill the triple channels?
Model of the motherboard:Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Model of the memory: Trident DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)
Model of the CPU: Intel i7 930 Bloomfield
