  • ASUS P5QC and F3-12800Cl7D-4GBRM

    processor: Intel Quard Core Q9660
    Mainboard: Asus P5QC
    G.Skill Ram:F3-12800Cl7D-4GBRM
    OS: Win7 64bit
    power supply 750w

I have no experience configuring RAM manually before. This is my first time. When it was default setting (9-9-9-24 DRAM volt = auto DRAM Frequency = auto), the blue screen appeared and showed physical memory dump. This is 1600 Mhz ram, but my mainboard can support only 1333Mhz. That's why I set at 1333 Mhz

After I looked at the forum, I reconfigured into this following

Current Setup 8-8-7-24 1.6V 1333 Mhz (This is 1600 Mhz ram, but my mainboard can support only 1333Mhz. That's why I set at 1333 Mhz)

With the current setup, the blue screen showing physical memory dump still appears sometimes.

I cant find the command rate timing on my board, do i need it?

I dont know what's wrong with it now.

Set memory to DDR3-1333 7-7-7-21 and you should not have a problem. Otherwise, something may be defective.

      Thank you
