  • F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL on MSI 890FX-GD70

    Hi,

sorry for my bad english, im from germany. i had a msi 790fx-gd70 and the F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL running with 1600mhz and 9-9-9-24-1T timings and unganged mode.

now i have a msi 890fx-gd70 with the same ram and i want to boot with the same timings and settings of the ram. but the system comes up with a blue screen when i boot.

now the question: what settings do i have to change that i can boot with ram at 1600mhz. the auto settings will also not work. any suggestions? thx

Same thing you did with the first one.

    DDR3-1600 and 9-9-9-24-2T

Once that is configured, the system should run fine.

    Thank you

        unganged

        What CPU do you have?

        Try NB Frequency x11 2200MHz
        CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V

        Thank you

          i have an amd 1090T.

          i will try your suggestion.

when i set the ddr voltage to 1.6 volts, everthing works fine. is this to high?

UPDATE: when i try your suggestion i get an memory error before the windows boot logo

i've got still a problem. prime runs stable with the ram settings, but when i load a track in need for speed shift the pc hangs sometimes and freeze after a while. i turned the ram settings back to auto. and the hangs and freezes aren't there any more in need for speed. so i guess the ram settings are wrong. what else can i try to run the ram at 1600 mhz?

Post pictures of your BIOS and I can see what may be set incorrectly.

                Thank you

Try 2T for Memory Timing. Did you try the settings in post #4?

                      Thank you

yes i tried the setting in post #4 with 1.6 volt on ram. i think the system is stable with 1T and the 1.621 volt. i will run some tests.
