  • problem with ripjaw or no?

    MSI P55-GD80
    F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
    i5 750

    everything default/auto in BIOS
    nothing overclocked

I started get BSOD, IRQ not equal blar blar...
I reinstalled OS(vista 64) and it went away for a while
    but it's back again
I thought it was bad stick so I ran memtest and it showed no errors
maybe it's bad HDD, ran seatool and that's no errors as well

I pulled one stick out and i'm running single stick and i have yet to see another BSOD..

    what's going on

Try the other module by itself and see how it works.

If both work fine, simply configure the memory settings in BIOS.

    DRAM Frequency DDR3-1600
    DRAM Timings tCL 9 - tRCD 9 - tRP 9 - tRAS 24 - Command Rate 2
    DRAM Voltage 1.50V

    Thank you

one of the stick is giving me error in memtest as soon as I start the test, but not when I test both at the same time, not at least for 20min+, couldn't wait till it was finished.
would changing the setting in BIOS help? or bad stick is bad stick no matter what?

It is a bad stick if the other one by itself does not error immediately.

          Thank you
