  • Gskill 4GB DDR3 2000Mhz F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH

Recently purchased 2 X 2 gig of Gskill 4GB DDR3 2000Mhz F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH but i'm really struggling too get it any higher than 900 mhz. Mother board is a Asus P6t ws pro, (Max blck on water is 225) Cpu is an i7 920(4.7 Gig on water). I have spent nearly two hours trying to get it run at 1000.

I have a benching session coming up in two weeks time, So would love to be able to sort this out. Thanks in advance.

What QPI/DRAM Voltage are you using? Post up some pictures of BIOS and we can see what's going on.

      Thank you

        QPI/DRAM Voltage 1.4. Ram voltage 1.6.

After doing some thinking on this problem. I thought why not try using xmp in the bios and sure enough it works, Only thing is this 2000 ram is not a lot, If any faster than my old 1600 ram. Maybe its time to move 2400.
