    Hello all,

Could any kind soul give some advice?

    I have a gigabyte EP43T-UD3L with Ripjaws F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL (2GBx2)

Ok everything setup in the bios manually with recommended settings on memory box.
I'm experiencing instability: BSOD, apps hanging, apps crashing.
Tried running win xp and win 7 to see if any difference. None seen.

Thought it was the memory be running them through Memtest86.
Instant crash when running both sticks.
    Ran single all results ok.

Led me to beleive error on the mainboard.
So ran memtest86 again signle slots each time all ok, but noticed that Memtest86 reports on my DDR slot 3 and 4 as DDR2.

Has anybody using one of these mainboards got this type of problem?

Got an RMA for the ripjaws, but I don't think it is them.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello again all,

Just been out and bought exactly the same board from a different suppier and same results.

Is this definatley the memory then?

If so how much does it cost me to RMA it from the UK?
    Best courier for the job?

    Thanks again

Make sure all memory settings are properly configured in BIOS. Do you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard? Very odd that they work fine individually but not together.

      Thank you

You will want to set System Memory Multiplier to AUTO or 4.00B. I don't think "D" is correct for CPU Host Clock Freq: 333

          Thank you
