  • 1600 DDR3 F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Compatibility with GA-770TA-UD3

Looking for some assistance on timings/compatibility with a Gigabyte ga-770ta-ud3 mobo and Phenom II 965 C3 Revision CPU. Just trying to eliminate this as a possible issue in solving my problem:

I get completely random BSOD, restarts, sometimes won't even post (all fans spinning).

I'm able to rune Prime95 to test CPU for hours so I don't believe the CPU is at fault either. Vid card swapped out with one I know orks (either way 3dmark runs multiple times without issue) All temps optimal, only reaching ~55 C at maximum load.

I'm able to run Memtest86+ for 8-10 hours without issue at both 1600 and 1333 24-9-9-9 and 29-11-11-11, does this rule out ram timings/compatibility to be an issue? If so, the only thing left is a defective motherboard (PSU seems fine)?

    Thanks for any input.

Try one module at a time. Reloading Windows may help too if you installed it when memory was unstable.

    Thank you
