  • Asus M4A78T-E and 8gb F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO

I have 4 x 2gb of this low voltage RAM and wish to use it in my new, M4A78T-E motherboard. Other relevant system specs:
Mobo flashed to latest 3204 BIOS
AMD Phenom II 965BE processor, 3.4ghz, new C3 version 125 watts
    Vendetta 2 CPU cooler
    Corsair 650 watts PSU
Cooler Master 690II-Advanced case; several extra fans
    Zalman twin fan RAM cooler

Question 1: BIOS will not allow me to set DRAM voltage lower than 1.5 volts; this RAM is rated 1.35 volts. Can the RAM tolerate this voltage with good cooling?

Question 2: I want to run the RAM at 1333mhz instead of the rated 1600mhz and tighten timings as much as full stability allows. 1600mhz timings are given as 7-8-7-24-2T @ 1.35 volts. Can you please suggest timings I should try for 1333mhz @1.5volts, and any other settings/changes in BIOS that may be helpful? I'm targeting to run Northbridge at 2400mhz instead of 2000mhz.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    1.50V will be fine.

For DDR3-1333, you can try 6-6-6-21, but you'll simply need to test that for yourself.

    Thank you
