I spent a ton of time reading various forums (here and elsewhere) trying to get my setup stable in Prime95 blend running the memory at 1600 mhz , and this seems to be the ticket:
CPU: Phenom II x3 720
Frequency: 3.3 ghz
Voltage: 1.375
Motherboard: Gigabyte 790GPT-UD3H
NB Frequency: 2400mhz
CPU/NB Voltage: 1.3
Ram: F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
Frequency: 1600mhz
Timings: 9-9-9-24
Voltage: 1.6 (lowest MB setting)
I read things about upping the HT voltage, but adding voltage to the weak AMD IMC via the CPU/NB made more sense. Even with more CPU/NB voltage, I couldn't get Prime95 blend stable until I increased the NB frequency. I read a post that said NB frequency should be ram speed +50%. Who knows if there is any scientific foundation for that, but it seems to have worked for me.
Hopefully this at least gets you heading in the right direction.
